Just after 2 O’clock, the company was dispatched to the 700 block of Milmont Ave. for a CO alarm. Engine 49-1, under the command of 49-12A arrived on scene. After checking the residence with the gas detector, the crews found no evidence of CO. The Engine was available from the scene shortly after. Residents are reminded to not only check their smoke alarms for batteries, but any CO detectors as well. The best types of CO detectors on the market are those that have a digital display.
